Castle Falcon - Newark and Sherwood

The Sunday lunch/dinner was fantastic. The vegetables were slightly overcooked for my taste but still acceptable. The pork and beef were exquisite, made with high-quality meat from a local butcher. You could really taste the difference in quality. I prefer my vegetables to be more on the crisp side of al dente, although most people may not. Overall, very tasty and I would recommend it.

Fantastic pub. Went there last weekend for re opening. Was covid compliant people of all ages there and great selection. Tatsy pub treats and the manager was friendly, accommodating and up for a laugh. Will recommend to friends and family.

Lovely people behind the bar and friendly regulars. Chilled traditional pub darts, skittles and dominos all available for free. Child dog friendly. Very clean and covid regulations adhered to.

The staff at this cozy, welcoming pub were incredibly friendly. My friend and I stopped by on our way to a hospital appointment and were greeted by a lovely woman who we nicknamed "Little L." She was petite and pretty, and went out of her way to assist us with directions and even helped us with the pool table. There were friendly dogs running around the pub, adding to the relaxed atmosphere. We also had the pleasure of meeting the landlord and his partner, who were both delightful. They even set up an electronic darts board for us. Overall, a great experience at this old-style pub.

I stopped by this restaurant for a drink the other day. The atmosphere was very relaxed, and the owners, Rob and Stacey, were very polite and welcoming. I will definitely be returning in the future.
