The muffins strike the perfect balance in texture—not too moist and featuring just the right amount of cornmeal. Additionally, the salads and spreads in the display case appear wonderfully fresh.
As for the bagels, they're just okay—not even close to what you'd find in Queens. The spread selection looks unappealing, and the large slabs of smoked salmon displayed don’t look very appetizing, if you catch my drift. A few oranges or some plastic flowers could really brighten things up. Overall, it should be better, but it ends up feeling mediocre at best.
Dishonest pricing. They seem to add extra charges to your bill without reason. I recommend skipping this place and heading to Broad Nosh at 86th and Broadway instead. They offer much better bagels at fair prices.
The bagel was warm and clearly crafted with care. It's now my new favorite!
Excellent food, friendly servers, with that old NYC charm!
