Sushi By Bou Times Square

Best sushi concept, being okamase, in all of Manhattan. The sushi chefs are great and very sociable. All the staff is very attentive while the music is very upbeat.Food: 5/5

We were in the mood for sushi before seeing Back to the Future and this was right around the corner from the Winter Garden Theater. I didn't know what to expect when we had to go down some stairs from street level. We were warmly greeted, and even though we didn't have reservations, they sat us at the sushi bar. I would make reservations next time though to be safe as it only seats 8 people. We received our sushi pieces one by one and they were delicious! So happy we went.

Spontaneous Omakase trip turned out great!We were around Times Square and decided to get sushi and saw great reviews here. As with all things Times Square, we were a bit skeptical, but we were happily surprised.Our 12-course Omakase was $60/pp and we got an additional hand roll on top each. The sushi was delicious, every step different in texture and flavors. The chefs here use several different toppings, like a yuzu pepper sauce, yuzu peel, truffle salt, himalayan salt and others not all yuzu and salt, but those just come to mind! which made them stand out against other sushi spots I’ve been to.The second to last piece was a “wagyuni” surf and turf which was a small roll of American wagyu topped with uni. SOO creamy and delicious and the meat was so perfectly charred.Oh I forgot to mention the atmosphere! Super cozy 8-seat bar with a cool downstairs entrance and locked door that you have to knock to enter. Just overall loved the vibe and the experience.Would definitely go again, thank you!!! :

Made a last minute reservation on a whim. The atmosphere and drinks were immaculate, the food was incredible, and the best thing of all, the staff was out of this world amazing! What a special place, 10/10 would recommend to anyone that loves sushi and friendly people.Food: 5/5

Literally the best dining experience of my life. Every bite was amazing. Good vibe, music, drinks. The place only seats 9 people and felt intimate and personal.Food: 5/5
