Cafe Roma Pizzeria - New York City

Food was delicious. Nice atmosphere. I really enjoyed Cafe Roma

The regular pizza was solid, however, I made the mistake of ordering garlic knots. After trying the garlic knots I was very disappointed. I could not even finish them. I was very surprised to hear later that the 4 garlic knots I ordered cost $3.50!! You would think that these garlic knots were made out of gold. Horrible garlic knots with a horrible price. Just get pizza

This review is just based off of customer service since I wasn 't even able to try the food. I placed an order via slice and I get a call from an unknown number shortly after, it 's Cafe Roma Hello you just place an order? I reply yes, after he briefly mentioned all that I had ordered, he then asks: Can you give more tip? The distance is going to be too far for my delivery guy. I asked him to please hold as I tell my husband what the heck just happened. What establishment calls the customer and asks for more tip, who had the audacity to ask for more tip???? But I 'll explain further why I had a issue with this request. I then ask, if I can give the tip on the app and then he says No the app has nothing to do with us, you have to give the tip to my delivery guy. I tell him oh, so it has to be cash, I 'm sorry I don 't have cas.. NO PROBLEM he cuts me off from me finishing my sentence and so then I ask if the order can be canceled since I don 't have cash for tip. He bum rushed me off the phone. OKAY NO PROBLEM and just hangs up the phone before I can can say anything else. So I get called being asked for more money, was rude and cut off while on the call and he gets pissed off because I don 't have cash?! So then I just asked to cancel and he gets mad and hangs up. EW. If my address is too far if a distance, that 's not my error they need to adjust the delivery zone. Foolish man.

Not only is the pizza here really good but the owner/manager was a pleasure to speak to and really is interested in his customers. Plenty of room to sit and no more expensive than your typical kosher city pizza place.

I placed a several hundred dollar order for an event, so you think they would try to be decent human beings, but when their delivery was an hour late and I tried calling just to work with them, the people at the store just yelled continuously at me for no reason? They rely on the fact that they're kosher and people have limited options restaurant wise but they don't deserve to be in business with the way they treat costumers.
