Restaurant bewertenThe food was delicious, the service was very good, and the place is beautiful! The wind was a bit bothersome at one point, but the staff closed the windows. We had a great time.
Upon arriving for our reservation, we were informed that there would be a 40-minute wait for our food because it needed to be made fresh. Despite having a reservation, we expected the food to be ready in a reasonable amount of time. Additionally, our tea service was lacking as there was no spoon provided to stir the tea, and we were not offered milk or water for drinking. The food did not taste fresh and the baked goods seemed to be a few days old. Having previously stayed at a St. Regis, we had higher expectations for both the food and service at this restaurant.

What a difference two weeks can make! I had a great experience at this restaurant before, but today the food was exactly the same with only a change in dessert options. It's important to keep the experience interesting by offering different dishes each week. Unfortunately, we were also charged for the wrong alcohol option (9,000 pesos for three people!) and our waiter asked for a cash tip before his shift ended. Despite receiving poor service, we tipped him out of courtesy. We had to repeatedly ask for drinks that never came and dirty plates remained on our table for 20-30 minutes. The waiter who took over for the last 30 minutes was better, but still hinted for an additional tip on top of the full bill. We never saw a manager throughout the entire evening, which was very disappointing compared to our previous visit two weeks ago. I doubt we will be returning after this experience. I am only giving one extra point because the restaurant failed to respond to a customer who spent over $500 USD there.
