Restaurant bewertenThe food at this restaurant was incredibly tasty. I tried the shrimp in white wine sauce and it was full of flavor. For starters, we had boneless chicken chicharrón and fried fish sticks that were delicious, and the accompanying sauces were perfect. The portion sizes were decent for a downtown spot. The music was very loud, especially since we were seated towards the front, so I can only imagine it was even louder towards the back near the bar. The songs played were a cool mix of old school and new school.
I will never come back here again! There was a mandatory $3 coat check, and then having to get patted down by security was the final straw for me. The atmosphere felt low-class.
The food is really goodThe shrimp in garlic sauce was scrumptious The rice and beans yummy.the avocado was perfect.
Food was below par. Ceviches were more like salads. Shrimp were extremely overcooked. Peruvian cevice was one type of overcooked fish. Overall very disappointing.
As soon as you approach Cafe Nunez, you hear the music in the back. It's a bit too loud if you're trying to talk to the person you're dining with. The LED lights make it club-esque. Will come back again to partake in their drink specials for My friend and I arrived too late to benefit from it. The size of the menu was great, and so far the food was consistent. Happy that I work close enough to enjoy it for lunch. Plan to come back to have more off their menu.
