Restaurant bewertenWhen the Hot 8 Brass Band played, it was the standout moment in New Orleans. The end of their performance on the streets was exactly what everyone was hoping for.
The restaurant has a nice New Orleans atmosphere. We ordered Cuban sandwiches and jambalaya, which were tasty. The service was average and unfortunately, there was no air conditioning.
The food and atmosphere were good at this restaurant, but we were put off by the attitude of the bartender and the food selection. When we asked about any live concerts that night, the response we received was unhelpful and dismissive. The woman serving beer was also unfriendly, so we ultimately decided to go elsewhere for the evening.
Wow! This hidden gem of a restaurant was truly amazing. The chicken cheese steak and sauce were perfectly seasoned, resulting in a flavor explosion in your mouth. The Gator Balls and Burger were both delicious. The music and burlesque show were absolutely fabulous. I can't wait to go back! I even bought a t-shirt and had everyone sign it. Thanks to Nick, Adina, Howie, Oz (aka ZAK), Ilona, and Keshawn for the great service. I even ordered food to take back to NYC. Don't miss this amazing restaurant in the warehouse district, also known as the 1984 Worlds Fair area.
I recently went to the Tuesday Comedy night at this restaurant. I ordered drinks and food at the bar before the show. This hidden gem in the warehouse district exceeded my expectations! The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the fish tacos and burger. The fried pickles were also tasty, but could use a little more spice or flavor. The comedy show was fantastic, with a variety of stand-up acts for just $5 per person. Overall, it was a fun night out and I will definitely be returning in the future.
