Restaurant bewertenResponding Directly to the Coors Incident review: Hiring qualified, capable staff in Food&Beverage is tougher than ever, especially in New Orleans. I know, I 'm a career professional who has interviewed thousands and hired more than a few that very quickly blew up on the job. When it comes to David and his Okay Bar, staff, performers, vendors and pop-up entrepreneurs. trust we widely experienced locals who live in the neighborhood. You 'll know us by our 5-star reviews. And a word of advice: don 't drink Malort, Chartreuse and Tequila at the same sitting. Even if you are from New Orleans!
Came here a few days ago with friends to check it out, as someone who doesn 't like to go to a lot of bars because of safety reasons I really enjoyed the fact that they advocated themselves as a safe place for women so I decided to go. Not even 20 minutes after getting there I was sitting in the back where I watched a guy smash his girlfriends head into a brick wall after an argument they were having. The bar was notified right away and instead of actually helping the girl they instead kicked both of them out so he could just continue going in on her on the street. Acting like it wasn 't their problem. If you 're going to sit there and advocate you 're a safe space for women be a f safe space for women.
This is the okayest okay bar that I have ever been in. I love the vibe they have going on here.
Ordered three Coors for the table, got them, paid for them, brought them to the table. A few minutes later a bartender takes one of the *full* beers from our table and tries to rip mine from my hand, accusing me of bringing it in from outside. I literally bought the beer less than 5 minutes before from the bar. I went back up to the bar to get the one he stole replaced, and the other two bartenders said sorry and that the one bartender didn’t know they sold Coors. So this guy didn’t know the bar he worked at sold Coors and literally fought me to try to pry it from my hands. Unreal. Of course I’m never going back. I’ve never seen anything like it.
Cute and calm sometimes they have events in the back yard area
