Kilwins New Orleans

It would seem as if it’s my life mission to seek out Kilwins in every major city I visit! This establishment was just as fantastic as all the other ones I’ve been to. Clean facilities, friendly service, and delicious treats…best way to describe Kilwins! My love for this sweet shop started in Charleston, SC and continued today in New Orleans!

Staff was friendly and patient with us as we weren't really sure what we wanted (well I wasn't, my wife knew exactly what she wanted). Ice cream was delicious! Will definitely keep this place in mind if we ever come back to visit New Orleans!

Great place for a cone or treat to beat the heat. Great selection of ice cream and other treats. But it can get a bit busy given its location.

After visiting the spicy pepper sauce restaurant across the street, we were in need of some ice cream. The ice cream we had was smooth and not too sweet. I opted for the raspberry sorbet, while my husband chose the chocolate flavor. We also had some delicious fudge pieces.

I visited Kilwins on 2/16/22 and I must say, the staff were the friendliest and most kindhearted people I have ever come across in all of New Orleans. Our party of six were each helped with such care and attention throughout the store. We ended up purchasing apples, ice cream, and the most delicious pralines we have ever tasted! Derek, Neecy, and Theresa assisted us, along with three other staff members whose names I unfortunately did not catch. They provided us with recommendations, tastings, and even accommodated my egg allergies by advising me on which ice cream flavors were safe for me to enjoy. If you're looking for a scrumptious treat, this is the place to go! They even wished my son a happy birthday.
