Restaurant bewertenVery nice atmosphere. Service was great. We got the gator po-boys and gumbo. Maybe we didn’t get their best dishes but they were a 3/5. The bread pudding beignet was the best part of dinner. We absolutely loved it!Food: 3/5
So we came in looking for the Crawfish Etoufee. Reviews said it was up there with the best of the best. Well it’s our last night in NOLA and etoufee we have not yet had. My gf isn’t a big fan but she doesn’t care for any sauce that starts as a roux.I ordered 1 for us to share. She put the first bite in her mouth and she said oh man that’s tasty. And she was right! The flavor is fantastic, the color of the sauce is on point, the crawfish was perfect. We were super impressed. She said best etoufee she’s ever had. She would order it again. I would say easily top 2 or 3 for me. I’ve tried several others in the area. I would come back here with zero hesitation. My only complaint is I wanted dirty rice not white and they wouldn’t do it. I would have paid more. I guess I should have said no rice and just ordered a side of dirty rice.I do agree with other reviews the rice portion compared to the giant bowl of etoufee is out of proportion. These are minor things. Truly enjoyed our dining.
The food and service were excellent. We will definitely go back!
The staff was super friendly and accomodating. We really enjoyed the food. The oysters were fantastic. I really liked the fried alligator but found the po'boy disappointing. The bread pudding beignets was one of the best things I've ever eaten
