Restaurant bewertenA really nice pizza spot! Cute inside, and a lovely little courtyard with seating outside. The arancini were yummy, as was the bolognese app (although the grit sticks they used to come with seems like a better idea than the bread they serve that is really chewy and firm and gets your mouth up! . The pizza was yummy although a little too much sauce for the very thin crust. I will definitely return.
Only the second day open for this midcity pizza place and it's already amazing. This is the newest restaurant from the couple that brought us The Fat Falafel food truck and 1000 Figs Mediterranean restaurant. The pizza here is cooked in a wood fired pizza oven and the crust is thin crispy and flavorful on its own. We had the mushroom pizza and ate the entire thing after devouring the house salad, squid and greens crustini and my favorite the Dandelion greens with yogurt. I'm so happy that this place is opened and am looking forward to coming back and sampling more of the pizza and a few of the creative cocktails on their drinks menu.
Discovering Echo’s (plus constantly being totally underwhelmed by Pizza Delicious) has made me realize I greatly prefer a Neapolitan style pie. Their’s can be a little wet, so silverware might be required, but the crust is soft, delicious and covered in yummy charcoal-bubbles. Also, try the rice balls! The interior is rustic modern, and a lovely place to spend some time. There is also a nice patio with string lights and plenty of seating. Parking is a little tough on Banks, and there is a convenience store on the adjacent corner where guys loiter I’ve had to pass through. If Echo’s ever decides to stay open later it might be a deterrent.
Great spot in midcity for wood fired pizza and small plates. Service was great. Food came out hot, seasoned well, and tasty.
Great neighborhood spot with pizza that can rival Pizza Delicious and great prices too. The quality of the crust is absolutely exsquisite. I did have a really good IPA while I waited for the pizza to come out and a Cesar salad to start off with. Highly recommend this place and I'm very happy I don't have to go to the Bywater for great pizza anymore.
