Blue Oak Bbq - New Orleans

Some real good BBQ!!! We had a great meal here. We had BBQ plates with sliced brisket, pulled pork and ribs. I had beans and potato side and my wife had Mac and cheese and Brussels sprouts. All the meat was cooked perfectly, and particularly good when paired with the house BBQ sauce which is amazing. The brussel sprouts were particularly delicious on the side. They have a good range of craft beers and various other drinks.

Walk in to place your order, take your number and sit and wait for some really good grub. The brisket was tender and delicious and we got the smoked wings during happy hour. When in NOLA we plan to be back!

A local gave us this recommendation and it was a good one!The ribs, rice/beans, brussel sprouts, baker beans and slaw we're all great! The pulled pork wasn't my favorite but decent for me. (I don't like a pulled pork with tons of sauce and sesame seed buns)

Had the sichuan wings and the brisket nachos during happy hour. So good! Not a huge fan of their mac and cheese but a lot of people seem to like them. Will be back.

We ordered the Family Style, All Meats. All of the meat had great smoke flavor. We were very pleased! Most of sides all had issues. The red beans were too hard; the Mac n’ cheese was too spicy with a weird cheese flavor; the potato salad and needed mustard. The Brussels spouts we’re great and coleslaw was good.
