Restaurant bewertenI recommend the Songbird Cafe. The Beignets are to die so lightly and very tasty and I also enjoyed the Lemon Poppyseed pancakes. The owner was very nice that she was over while I was eating to make sure I was okay and my water was refilled for me. Will come back when I'm in the area.
Really good! No complaints at the second meal. The cowboy tacos were really good. The banana pudding was traditionally good. The Beignets were the best, warm sweet. We also love their peach tea.
I highly recommend supporting this little local business. My grandma and I stopped the Songbird Cafe for the first time a few weeks ago. It was an incentive of the current decision while we waited for recipes to be met. We were so pleasantly surprised by this little restaurant. the staff is incredibly friendly and the food was amazing! The Jerry Garcia plate was actually the first full, nourishing meal that I had been able to eat since I was abdominal and back surgery about a week earlier. I went back to the counter to order her banana bread pudding and my grandmother and I agree that it was the best banana pudding we've ever had. We will definitely come back!
Delicious break, delicious coffin. Small place, but very clean and clean inside (including toilets). Some people complain for prices, but prices are tailored to quality products that are very good. 5 star place.
Maria the owner is such a gem. So is her staff--everyone's so friendly, the music is always good, and the food is spectacular. Definitely a great place to go when you're sick of all the chains and want a quirky cafe. They also have Dark Matter coffee which is practically unheard of in the burbs. The former city girl in me takes so much delight in that <3
