Restaurant bewertenThis is our favorite local place for sushi. Good drinks, great sushi, and a friendly staff.
We arrived on a Saturday night, and the restaurant was admittedly packed. It went downhill from there. The server was pleasant but aloof. She didn’t remember who had what drinks or who ordered what. Basic server stuff for this kind of joint, where you wouldn’t expect them to come to the table and auction off food. They ran out of cups and brought our drinks in styrofoam cups instead, except for the martini we ordered, which came in a rocks glass, not a martini glass. The martini eas otherwise enjoyable. Don’t order the raw oysters. We ordered them and they came out on ice, but the oysters themselves were warm, where they should be ice cold if kept at proper temp. They apologized and took them back and didn’t charge us for them. After that, the rolls were fine, but it was otherwise just difficult to enjoy the rest of the experience. The restaurant is trendy and kinda noisy but enjoyable! It’s got a great vibe, but the barstools are stained and dirty and that gives kind of a grimy feel. The restroom was clean but needed updating. I wouldn’t go back. The warm, raw seafood is where they lost the stars. They kept three because I generally love sushi.
This is a place we loved while living in the area a few years ago. We stopped in for lunch today while on vacation and it didn't disappoint! The raw oysters were ice cold and delicious. We had the lunch sashimi and selected salmon escolar rolls from the lunch combo. So fresh and at a great price too. Nicole was the perfect server. She knew the menu well, and kept a close eye on us without frequent interruptions when we were obviously enjoying our lunch. We hope to fit in at least one more meal before we have to head home.
Sashimi lunch is a great deal! Great food and service.
I can’t stop getting the Hidden Dragon Roll. It is amazing!
