Jazzy's Cabaret - New Haven

We enjoyed our time at jazzy’s. the mood and atmosphere was fantastic. we loved the live music and the feeling around the venue. eating was a big failure. our two dishes were cold and took a long time to get out. the bbq jerk chicken and the salmon tasted both good taste, but there was both very cold together with ice cold rice.

It was my fiancée. we arrived a few minutes early, but were welcomed in the location, in a cozy lounge vibe sitting area, which was nice waiting. eating was delicious the ambience/spirit was everything, especially when they are present in music! the one I wasn't excited was room. the place was practically empty! I've kept up with the hope that we don't have to sit close to others. we made it known to the personal when we sat another couple that was right from us. there were 2 other tables where we could sit, but they said we couldn't because they were taken. the whole time we were there, no one showed. other than that, excellent and would go back.

Terrible service! Long waits! Unorganized! Need to hire manager to keep things on track! Need better planning for busy nights and overrall more staff for large crowds so customer aren’t waiting to be assisted! Running out food and instead of telling customers they give anything assuming they will just want that substitute instead of informing you.

We have been to Jazzy’s before and really enjoyed it. The food and service was great. So we come back this time and the service was a bit overwhelmed or unorganized. The bar tender had to be a fill in because she struggled to find almost everything. The food was the usual very good but the appetizer came out at the same time as the main entree and within 10 minutes of ordering, perhaps sooner. ThT was too rushed and for no good reason that I could tell. We were staying for the karaoke night so there was no rush. That was the only disappointment we really had. We absolutely will go back and the karaoke was awesome!! I wished they wouldn’t wait so long between singers; too many DJ played songs between singers and not sure why, there was no shortage of very good singing talent. Jazzy’s might have just had a less than stellar night, I won’t hold it against them. Very nice place and fun!

Server was great , food was good but food for my party came out at all different times. Everyone couldn't eat together. But overall good vibes
