Restaurant bewertenGood place to have food ...very nice taste mild and authentic . Nice dishes and very good staff.
Decent place to dine with family or get together. Very little crowded with good food and good music . Service was a little slow but our table attendant was very courteous and humble.<br/ Ambience was also soothing here. <br/ <br/ What to try:<br/ Palak patta chaat <br/ Honey chilli potato and lotus stem<br/ Mint mojito<br/ Cheese cake a little hard though)<br/ Veg clear soup<br/ <br/ Main course and other soups were average here.<br/
Excellent visit and loved the ambience and food too they serve yummiest non veg and as well as great services. Nice experience surely recommend!
When you are about to walk in this fine dining restaurant(which happens to be Ameya Suites' in house multicuisine restaurant , you may casually deem it as just another reataurant, but, don't let your unguarded first reaction fool you. Because what came next, left us flabbergasted!<br/ Lets take you on this journey and give you a peek in to our escapade:<br/ <br/ Food :<br/ The list of items that we got to try(one of the perks of being a food blogger was long and we would try our best to cover every item, however, excuse us if we missed anything.<br/ We started the royal feast with the Lucknow Yakhi Shorba(non veg , Ginger, lemongrass and Turmeric Broth, Paya Shorba(non veg and Mushroom Cappuccino.<br/ The Focaccia Bread gave perfect company to the soups and we couln't have asked for a better start to the meal. The Watermelon Lime Cooler was what a lot of you may describe as thandai for us.<br/ With our hunger pangs kicking in, the attendant wasted no time in serving us the next dishes. The Quinoa Couscous Tabouli was a part of their starter section and was prepared using quinoa, couscous, tomato, avocado, onion, fresh mint with lime olive dressing. The freshness of the vegetables and the olive dressing left our taste buds with a blend of flavors wanting for more.<br/ The Palak Patta Chaat was undoubtedly one of the best we have ever had. The deadly combo of Tulsi Murg Tikka and Lucknowi Galauti Kebab was their answer to the hardcore punjabi in us! And not to forget, these tender kebabs, unlike any, were ingeniously served on top of mini circular tawa parantha!<br/ For the vegetarians, they served Dahi ke Makhmali Kebabs. Lets just say a very few dishes are able to justify their names(this one actually did for all those who did not get it .<br/ The next dish has won many hearts, as our host, Surpreet, clearly labelled this as their best selling item. Chur-chur Naan with Dal Makhani. We must have digged in to it maybe a tad late as we were busy taking pictures and striking some really interesting conversation with Surpreet, but, when we did, we never looked back. Such was the impression that we had to send our compliments to the Chef(quite frankly he did let us in his secret recipe, but needless to say, we are not going to vomit it out .<br/ We were then served the main course meal which included the Crispy Top Crusted Mac and Cheese, Risotto alle Verdure, Pollo Grigliato and Gamberi con Pomodoro e basilica (Prawns . We generally dont like eating fish or prawns, however, their Mac and Cheese is highly recommended! The risotto was colorful, filling and nicely presented and was prepared exactly as per the book.<br/ <br/ We now slip our way to the last portion of the meal, the desserts. And maybe its just us, or in general, why do all these fine dining restaurants keep the best things for the last?<br/ It was like a treasure unlocked with their oh so presentable Chocolate Mousse and the-never-tasted-before-and-probably-the-best Shahi Tukda! Guys, jokes apart, this Shahi Tukda laced with rabdi and white chocolate truffle was THE best we have ever had and thats exactly the adjective thats going to stick for years to come!<br/ Seriously, do we still need to make ourselves any more clear than this? Its a hands down 5/5 for the food folks <br/ <br/ Ambience :<br/ As we mentioned, you cannot have your first reaction ebb the zeal to explore the place. What they lack in their visibility is compensated in their food and decor. Although, the furnishings were minimalistic in design and were not very loud, one could easily spot the architectural ideas the owner must have incorporated in the design through their travel experiences around the world(mostly the UAE . Be it the spiral window mullions or the paintings on the wall, everything looked borrowed from different corners of the world. What could have made the ambience more appealing is a little music to feed the ears. For now, we are going fo settle with a not so bad 4/5.<br/ <br/ Service :<br/ Honestly, they were really quick in serving dishes and made us feel really special. The attendants were welcoming enough to explain the ingredients to us and made sure they exceeded our expectation with each dish. Regardless of such humbling hospitality, we are confident that the occupants of the hotel contribute to the majority of their footfall, however, they would not have qualms in serving their outside customers even in full occupancy. We'll give a bright 4.5/5 to them<br/ <br/ Overall rating : 4.5/5
Riviera is the Restaurant of Ameya Suites . They serve all their meals here including Buffets . Riviera has a nice fresh vibe to the restaurant and now they have an updated menu too . I imagine many people from the hotel guests and office workers dining here alot . The prices are very good for the portion sizes. Once you enter and are seated they serve up some Focaccia Bread to be enjoyed . It is very nice and freshly baked. They also serve a Jaljeera Shot which really refreshes one . For drinks I tried 2 of them a Crunchy Cooler and Mango Bite Crush. The Mango Bite Crush was amazing but the crunchy cooler wasn't very good as they had put too much Rock Salt in the drink which really overpowered the drink. But the Mango Bite Cooler was refreshing aswell as sweet just the way I like it . For starters we ordered 2 dishes Palak Pata Chaat and Non Veg Kebab Platter . The Palak Pata Chaat is their signature dish which has even been kept from the previous menu . The Palak Pata Chaat was in all honesty a great dish Fried Spinach Leaf , Ginger , Chilli , Roasted Cumin served up with Yoghurt combined with the classic Mint Chutney and Tamarind Chutney and garnished with pomegranate . Lovely dish with a great crisp , crunch and flavour combination. It was great . The kebab Platter was next which was also very tasty . The Platter consisted of Basil Chicken Tikka , Reshmi Seekh Kebab and Tandoori Sarson Jhinga . The Chicken Tikka was Juicy , Succulent and tender and the flavours were great. The Reshmi Seekh Kebab was very flavorful and meaty. The Tandoori Sarson Jhinga was also nicely charred and flavoured but the size of the Prawns were just a bit too small that's the only negative side otherwise really nice . One more thing which I wanted to say was the service was talking a bit too long the starters took around 35 minutes to come but the worse part was the fact that the mocktails came along with the starters which was very surprising. The mains also took another 30 45 minutes to come completely. That means the total amount of time for the food being served was more than an hour . Another sad thing was the food even arrived a bit cold . For main course we ordered Olive Paneer Kulcha , Chur Chur Naan , Home made Meat Curry , Butter Chicken , Mutton Tawa Biryani , Chicken Risotto , Mushroom Risotto and Prawn Thyme Butter with Garlic and Tomato Sauce . Starting with the Olive Paneer Kulcha , it was amazing with loads of flavours and the soft Kulcha it was a great combination. It was served with Raita and Masala Onions. It was great . Next was the Meat Curry which was just okay , the meat was decently soft and the flavours of the curry was decent . After that was the Butter Chicken which was also pretty decent , the chicken was tender and gravy tasted pretty good , but it was very rich or thick as other butter chicken , but it was tasty . The next items were the risotto and both of them were great , nice and cheesey not very creamy but the flavours were great . The Risotto was topped with parmesan shavings . The Chicken risotto had olives in it too and compliment the risotto very well too. But in all honesty the Mushroom risotto was even better as the flavours of this were much more Deep and tasted superb. Next the Prawns which was in a Tomato and Garlic Sauce served with Garlic Bread which went very good . Again the Prawns were of small size but the raste was pretty good . But surprisingly my favourite dish was the Chur Chur Naan which was served along with a small bowl of Daal Makhni . It was just perfect , the naan was so tasty literally dipped in loads of Ghee and the flavour was a tad bit sweet which was perfect with the Daal Makhni in terms of flavour contrasting . Finally the last Dish arrived which was the Mutton Tawa Biryani which was pretty nice too , especially the Mutton as it was much more tender than the Meat Gravy , the Meat in the Biryani was fall of the bone tender but the Biryani itself wasnt anything special but with that super tender meat to compliment it was pretty nice . Finally to the desserts , we ordered a Shahi Tukda and Chocolate Mousse , these came pretty fast withing 10 minutes so that was a good point . And both the desserts were really nice , very tasty , elegant and unique in their own ways . The Shahi Tukda was their own interpretation which was in all honesty very unique and the flavours were bomb. The Shahi Tukda used Brioche Bread and was filled with White Chocolate Truffle ! It was so unique and the flavours were so good it was just a treat . It was present beautifully too with the Shahi Tukda in the middle surrounded by the Rabdi. The Chocolate Mousse was also wonderful and very smooth and light . It was a big serving of it too and it had dark chocolate too which have a nice bitter flavour . Overall I really had a great time with quite a few quality items but a few things like service especially time and the drinks can be improved on , but the food it really good .
