L&g Southern Soul Food Cuisine

The food wasn't the best. I hate to say it because you always want to support black companies. But the Yams were very disappointing. They were dry and not sweet. The Mac n cheese had the craft cheese. Finally, Turkey was very dry with gravity. It wasn't very tender. But I can say the greens were very good. They were tender and a beautiful taste. Nevertheless, I can't say that I will order from them again.

Very authentic South Style Eat...black eye bears and rice had an ideal engraving, embroidered with peppers and onions and a hint of salt and black pepper. The portions are very generous and were delivered hot from the grill.

**** bastards were good. Collard Green would have cooked a lil longer and the yams were well flavored, but they could also have been cooked longer, some yams were not completely soft. Maisbrot was excellent!!!! Pineapple cake upstairs was dry. I'll give him another try?

The food is amazing, but their customer service suck and it is crazy how high the prices for the food are and u can not even be added a piece of corn bread with raw meal. SMH. I won't go back there, no matter how good their food is. You need a better setting and better prices if bread is not added. Boston market has much cheaper prices and corn bread also comes with.

I was kind of hesitant on getting soul food from L&G because Delaware doesn't have the best reputation with soul food, but I took a chance and drove 28 min. and ordered fried whiting, greens, candy yams and potato salad and BAYBEE! That food was the best I've had coming from the state of DE, I will be a returning customer!
