Jackson's Seafood - New Albany

Delicious. I'm hoping they get to move into a bigger, more appropriate area, but my boyfriend and I come here very often. Never had a bad batch of food, nor have we had a bad experience with the staff. Cajun fries and hushpuppies are the best I've had.

Great little restaurant. Great fish, chicken, and sides. I often order the cod (large portions) or the scallops (rather small portion) but the sides are generous and delicious. The restaurant is clean and neat with friendly service.

My two brothers and I went to Jackson 's to celebrate a birthday. We all had the cod but we each had it cooked differently blackened, fried and broiled. We were all very impressed! The fish was delicious! It was light and tasty no fishy flavor. We tried the fries and the fried and onions and they were great too. Portions were excellent and the prices fair we paid $7.50 for the dinner that included the fish and one side. The only minor complaint is the restaurant furnishings. The decor looked like a cheap fish house not fitting for the quality of the food. Overall I would rate Jackson 's as excellent and I highly recommend it to anyone that is a frustrated as I was trying to find a decent fish meal for a reasonable price. Jackson 's exceeded my expectations!

Best food for the value. If this place was open 24/7 and they had liquor, I'd probably be there at 3:00am, trying to light a cigarette. Best chicken strips ever, and the Mustard sauce that they make is DRO.
