Restaurant bewertenI was working and needed to stop for lunch. Saw the sign from the road. Very pleasantly surprised. Really fresh lettuce in ceasar salad. Great coffee. Reasonably priced. Will come back when in the area.
I had visited this café many years ago, and when I heard that the ownership had changed, I decided to come back and I'm so glad I did. The coffee was great, the service was fast and friendly. The menu had changing specials each month and offered good hearty meals. It's a lovely hidden gem away from the main road.
We stopped by Caffe Chino for lunch on Friday, March 10 while on our way to Brisbane. We enjoyed delicious toasted sandwiches and chips, along with excellent and friendly service. Unfortunately, my husband's wallet fell out of his pocket without him noticing until hours later in Brisbane. We were in a panic, but when we called Caffe Chino, they informed us that they had found the wallet and kept it safe for us to collect. They made special arrangements for us to pick it up at a nearby business before they closed. The wallet was sealed in an envelope and everything inside was untouched, including the cash. The staff at Caffe Chino showed great honesty and kindness in helping us retrieve the wallet. We are grateful for their assistance and will definitely be returning, as well as recommending them to others.
There is always something special about restaurants located in hotels. I always seem to expect more from them for some reason.
