The staff was very helpful and friendly and the pizza was a 10/10 brilliant restaurant will go there much more regularly

Visited this restaurant with my family on a visit to cork and it ruined my whole holiday. I'm fully sure the wart hogs in fota island are getting better food then what this guy serves. And to top it all of the owner had a portrait of him as Don Corleone from the godfather movie hanging above the door. No effort or passion put into the food. The least friendly atmosphere i've ever encountered in my entire life. Banoffee pie was lovely though do recommend.

Visited with family this evening. Thought we'd give it a chance- looked authentic enough! I had initially thought it was closed! Totally empty- never a great sign! Decor was amusing- ice cream fridge looked absolutely filthy! Food was very poor. All our main dishes were loaded with SALT!! Buckets of SALT! Barely edible. Manager was non responsive. He looked thoroughly miserable! Hardly surprising.....

Not at all impressed . Calimari was so salty and drowned In the dressing from the cheap salad on the plate . We then ordered 14oz sirloin steak medium which came out flat and burnt to a crisp. My partners steak sauce was sour and tasted gone off . I got prawns in with my steak and they were just pure rubber . When we called over the waiter/chef/host he used the excuse that they were his last steaks which proves that his meat wasn’t fresh and probably already cooked. As far as excuses go that one topped my list . Highly disappointing and will never ever be going back . Not what my partners memory of the place use to be . -5/10 wouldn’t even feed it to a stray dog gut wrenching

Restaurant was cold. I had to leave my coat on. Proprietor was not very welcoming.. Bruschetta starters awful.. Pizza main course was terrible.. Avoid this ‘Sicilian’ restaurant.
