Kootenay Bakery Cafe - Nelson

Came in here for a beef pot pie that was featured on a sign board outsideIt did not disappoint.

I remember this place was once really good (1990's), but has really lost their edge and their prices are ridiculous. Can't even be bothered to go into detail.

The Kootenay Bakery Café Cooperative is an organic scratch bakery that focuses on producing food that is wholesome, healthy, and delicious.

Sliightly more expensive than your usual cafe but they had lovely staff as well as great baked goods.

Good coffee and pastries. They also have some hot food and pizza by the slice. The cream filled Long John and chocolate croissant were yummy. Stop in here on your walk down historic Baker St. in Nelson BC
