Restaurant bewertenA Swiss arrived in Italy managed to discover this small place, an oasis on the culinary and human side. For years I have been judge of the Golden Plate of Garda, but I think it is the first time that I had the opportunity to taste such delicious and refined dishes, here we ate a really exceptional, juicy, tender and very tasty cut, nothing but to compliment the wonderful couple of managers who from nothing they have managed to bring the Civic 12 to high levels.
Nice local, nice clean, with many amenities, customer-friendly owner, I ate a delicious sandwich.
He ate a tomato and basil paste with a good glass of valpolicella, nothing special but very good and super price right. a valid place x that is making a bike ride.
We stayed at the Civico12 last Sunday at lunch: we do not love the endless festive menus and therefore we appreciated the availability of the card also for this occasion. Among the wide choice of first we opted for a “scientific” carbonara and two risottos to the Porri and Monte Veronese, both very good. We had booked cutters cooked with the method of the Reverse searing, never tried before, and I must say that the marinating of 24 h in vacuum salt, the long cooking in a ventilated oven at low temperature and the finalization in cast iron plate (the owner explained it enthusiastically... they have given softness, juicy and really excellent taste; very good also baked potatoes. In closing, Granny and strudel cake, produced internally, really excellent. Prosecco and Valpolicella take noteworthy. The owners were very caring and generously pampered with appetizers in opening and homemade cookies and various liqueurs at the end of the lunch. A visit is definitely well spent also for a business lunch or a stopover, given the great availability of fast dishes. Prices aligned with quality and competitive.
An aperitif with a dear friend has turned into a real feast with tripudio of the senses (excellent appetizers, fantastic risotto with the amarone, beautiful proposal of the right valley) thanks to the exquisite hospitality of gualtiero, the guy is passionate owner. we also find that here you can have lunch in all hours: true rarity in the territory! highly recommended.
