Restaurant bewerten2nd visit. Flavorful and authentic. Very peaceful atmosphere and reasonable prices. CLEAN! Tom yum pad thai
Good atmosphere, relatively cheap price, a variety of options. Overall the food is okay.
Get the G1 BBQ chicken. The Java rice is really good. Great prices that are affordable.
I admit I was skeptical. My friend Pammy text me early today and invited me to dinner, her treat, her choice : She had heard good things about this place, so why not? When we first pulled into the strip shopping center parking lot we didn’t see the restaurant. It is in the corner tucked between a t-shirt shop and ummm, I can’t recall what was on the other side… When we entered we noticed how pretty and clean it looked inside, we also noticed that it was completely empty, on a Friday night. Strange. The girl working inside pointed to a booth across the room and came by, dropped off the menus without saying anything, and kept going. Huh. A few minutes later she came by and asked if we had any questions, I did. I wanted to know if their spring rolls were made in house. Yes, she said. That made me happy. There is nothing worse then ordering anything rolled and fried only to find out it was frozen. Ick. The young girl working was actually very personable. She had lots of good food info, and gave her honest opinion of dishes. Her outfit was not very professional as far as restaurants go, a tshirt with cartoon characters and shorts, but I am not the fashion police, so that does not affect my review… I ordered a Thai Tea with Boba. DELICIOUS! I think one of the best I have ever had. It was beautiful when brought to the table with the dark bobas on the bottom, dark orange tea, and milky white top. SO GOOD. Perfect consistency… Then the Spring Rolls. First thing we noticed is how fat they were. I am used to long and skinny rolls. These were short and stumpy, but you could tell that they were hand rolled. YAY! I like my rolls meaty, and that’s how they are made here. Meat, veggies, with a touch of rice noodles. Pammy and I shared the Spicy Beef Salad and the Drunken Noodle. We asked for a spice level of 2 (scale of 1-10 on the salad. It was a bit spicy for us. LOL! Or we just can’t handle spice. It was called “Spicy Beef Salad” so no complaints. The meat was tender, and the dressing was citrus-y delicious. As for the Drunken Noodle, we got chicken. I kinda wish I would have ordered shrimp. I love shrimp. Anyhow, the noodles were perfectly cooked, not too mushy (I get mad when my noodles are mush , and the veggies were fresh and flavorful. Zero complaints about The Great thai BBQ restaurant!!
