Restaurant bewertenHoneymoon Day 2... we had to try Italian as it is one of the Romanesque languages and the menu was very appealing. Antipasti was a house baked Focaccia, which was baked for perfection with an old balsamico that made the bread so good... we had to add our own turn with olive oil and red pepper flakes because we simply had to make it perfect. Insalata was the panzanella, which was very fresh, but unfortunately they left the cups, which was an essential element for the salty taste that ended the salad. Our main fishermen was a grouper and a grilled bronzino. The grouper was very tasty and the charred Broccolini was the cherry on top. The bronzino was not as delicious as I would have imagined... it was a lack of taste... just can't put my finger on it. One must try their truffle friries, the crispy, rich in taste, and had a fresh parmigiana coating that so good the pommes... for dessert we had to have their tiramisu and sorbet to assemble the meal. Our waiter was Shawn and he was so attentive and accommodating and made this experience unforgettable. Why only 4 out of 5? The salad lacked an ingredient, the bronzino was a bit lazy and the grilled mushrooms we ordered were missing 2 from the 3 mushrooms I expected to be there.
Arrived at SLS Bah Mar without dinner reservations. We were able to get a spot for two to dine at the bar. The bartender who serviced us was excellent!! We had the borinzino and chicken parmigiana with a side order of roasted mushrooms. Good tasting meals.
Pretty good take on Italian food. Pretty expansive menu. Not a great value but honestly nothing I found in this resort was a great value. The server we had was good. I like the design of this restaurant.
Nice restaurant with views of the property. The service was pretty good. We enjoyed the Branzino, fettuccine, rigatoni carbone, and Margherita pizza. The food was satisfactory.
I had to give this place a 3 star because there are so many good restaurants to choose from in Baha Mar, this place was very disappointing. We ordered the short rib dish on polenta. Typically short rib is very tender, fall-off-the-bone. This was very tough and dry. No flavor. Also, the polenta was not flavorful at all. It was very bland. We hardly ate it, it was that disappointing. We also ordered their alfredo pasta. We initially wanted their shaved truffle pasta, but they said they didn't have it. So the waiter offered to have the chef add truffle oil to our alfredo pasta, which we agreed to. We couldn't taste any truffle and told the waiter. He went back to the kitchen or chef, and came back to the table to tell us that they put it in the dish. Regardless, we paid for it but couldn't taste any truffle. Nevertheless, the food was very bland and very disappointing. We honestly wouldn't go back to give it another try. We stayed in Baha Mar for 7 nights and tried many other excellent restaurants on the property, much better than this Fi'lia.
