White Castle

They must have been understaffed this evening. We were visiting Nashville from Florida for a wedding and stopped through the drive through to try White Castle, about 10pm on June 22nd. But unfortunately we didn't get any food as the drive through lane was at a stand still for over 20min (we left after waiting 20min and no movement from the lane) and the line inside was almost out the door.

An iconic place, it is the first fast food as we know it. The Nashville unit has a somewhat decadent feel, with attendants with a folkloric approach and focused on the drive thru. The food is cheap and delivers what it promises. It is a purchase focused on price with average, consumable quality. I evaluate it as an experience for those who are not regular visitors like me and find the place as a whole enjoyable. I liked it, regardless of the quality or decadence, it has a good story.

Slow… we watched from drive thru as a migrating snail passed us and left the parking lot.

When you come from KY but live in AZ you have to stop at a White Castle. Food was good, service was sloooooww.

What a very disappointing visit I have always loved WC especially in Chicago. Long story story we love letting our children experience new things when we are traveling but from the moment we entered whom I believe was the supervisor on duty he was impatient, he didn’t suggestive sale anything, he took some of our order walked away did paperwork while I was still trying to order along with fixing food, I asked for the bathroom code he rudely and basically said it one number at a time extra slow like I was deaf or something, the dining area was filthy, I finished my order and told him my son was going to order the man walked away needless to say my son didn’t order anything. My food had so much seasoning in the bag it was just distasteful experience it was barely storming and the computer system started to go out the supervisor was talking about closing the store and going home
