We bought a few different things from leopoldo during our stay in neapel because they are highly valued and smelled in the guides and look fantastic. unfortunately they look better than they taste. while the olive taralli really, really good and the amaretti are quite good, the baked we tried were not very nice. it could taste neopolitan, but everything was just so sweet, it tasted every taste. the already sweet baba was immersed in a sweet syrup and filled with sweeter sawn, while the zupperto was simply sweetened. Given the fact that we were in a position to eat pastries from other shops, I am inclined to think that it was a Leopoldo problem instead of a Naples problem.

The best gluten-free bread I have ever had, including Rome, Amsterdam, Paris, Ny, San Francisco!!!! The desserts are amazing too!! Plenty of dairy free options! Extremely helpful, patient and pleasant woman behind the counter. I wish I could go here all the time!! This store should come to the United states!!!

The food is stunning it really is but my word the people who work there are so rude and passive aggressive! Zero kindness or friendliness from them. Just disinterested and when they do talk to you they act with contempt! Overshadowed what was actually really good gluten free cake.
