Beach Fires Pacific Grill - Nanaimo

They handled our large group very well. The owner came over and introduced himself to our group. I would choose this venue for a large group booking again :

I was so disappointed in Beach Fires. My wife and I came for a special date night. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant but we were seated right next to a very loud group of people. For our drinks alone we waited 33 minutes. I saw them made sitting at the bar and it took me so long to get the attention of the waitress to go get them. When the drinks arrived all the ice in my caesar had melted. I was hoping the food would redeem the awful service but it was mediocre at best and half our order was completely forgotten. For the price of the food and the terrible quality of service it was not worth it. It’s too bad because the location is beautiful and I was so looking forward to finding a new favourite place in town. Sadly, Beach Fires will not be one of them.

Small portions, Matta herb in mojito was withered, all the dishes missed some taste, ordinary salt, we-we're disappointed, overpriced for this quality

We enjoyed the food immensely. Would highly recommend. Only recommendation is to have music we can hear but not so loud we can't talk. We couldn't hear any music.
