Restaurant bewertenThe service was poor. The food was just above mediocre. Salty and dry meat. No garnishments. Very bland and not flavorful. We ate outside, felt like a car was going to run upon curb (where we sat). Very disturbing atmosphere
Stopped by for lunch on Saturday (yes it is open despite what the hours say) and was incredibly impressed with the vibe of the restaurant. It 's a cozy gastropub with a laid back atmosphere. I sat at the bar and had to flag down the bartender to place an order. It was definitely not busy enough to have to do that, and I felt ignored. The bartender gave me a coaster with a QR code for the menu on it and walked away. I eventually placed an order with him after flagging him down- again. For lunch I had a meatloaf sandwich, which is advertised on the menu: meatloaf with melted cheddar topped with brown sugar ketchup sauce . What I received was a small slice of meatloaf on a bun with two cold slices of American cheese topped with a mustard and ketchup... mix. It reminded me of a McDonald 's cheeseburger that had been sitting for a little bit. Besides the ketchup and mustard sauce mix, the sandwich was flavorless. When my sandwich arrived, the kitchen staff member was kind enough to refill my drink for me- which had been neglected by the bartender over the course of the 20 minutes I waited for food. When I was ready to collect the check and pay for my meal, I was again ignored by the bartender until I flagged him down- again. I probably won 't return here for food. Maybe a beer when I 'm not in any sort of hurry.
Our daughter loves to go to "non chain ' food places and chose this place for her family birthday dinner. Had crab something for a appetizer and got the Hanger Steak and Boozy Brisket for entrées. They were the right mix of traditional and gourmet! Service was amazing. We will be back!!
Service was not great, took a long time to get anything along with a waitress who was short with anyone who had a question about an order or needed a drink. They wanted to charge us for putting 3 tables together for our family to sit together, as well as to eat cupcakes for the birthday that we were there for. Just comes across as desperate to make any dollar they can.
Had spotted the menu for this place while driving through PA and pushed thru to Dayton for the overnight stop. After hitting some disappointing breweries, we were thrilled to finally enter Mudlick. Once seated, we met one of the best servers I’ve ever met. Recs for drinks, recs for food (jambalaya is not too spicy so I passed). Settled on burger with fig and fries (amazing), friend got chicken cob which she loved. Drinks were amazing: old fashioned and blood moon rising(thanks Tyler). Tried to bring him with us to the next stop, but he had to close….lame. Seriously, loved the place, staff, food. Just stop in you won’t be disappointed!
