Metro Diner - Murfreesboro

Popped in for a quick breakfast. Is kind of a modern diner style restaurant. I had the fried chicken Benedict. The food was all right. The service was good. The staff seemed friendly and eager to help. It's not my favorite breakfast place but everything was well executed and overall it was good. I'm sure I'll be back at some point :

This is a fine little place where the people are friendly and the food was very good. My Philly cheese steak was great. I liked that the hoagie roll was soft and the fries were hot. My server Liv (I think) was very nice and made sure I was happy with my dinner. I watched the kitchen staff working together to make sure everything was going well. I'm from Summerville SC and I have to say the sweet tea here was perfect. Hope to visit here again on another business trip.

Visited for breakfast for a second time. I ordered the Half-waffle Breakfast, my wife the seasonal Lemon-Blueberry Pancakes, and my son the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes. The half-waffle came with eggs, cheese grits, sausage, and a biscuit. A lot of food! All was good. (Ask for strawberry butter for the waffle. This the same as the Bissell Breakfast listed on the menu but if you prefer waffle instead of pancakes ask for the Half-waffle Breakfast which is not on the menu. The lemon-blueberry pancake was good but not much blueberry. The lemon topping is sweet enough that you don't really need syrup. Cinnamon roll pancakes were delicious! Topped with pecans and cinnamon butter. I plan to visit again at some point to tryout the lunch/dinner.

Metro Diner has been in our town few years seems to have become a local favorite now. They do a great job. We enjoyed breakfast for dinner recently. Everything was just delicious! Amazing pancakes with fresh fruit!! Crispy

Have been going to this location for about a year now. What can I say other than, awesome! Haven’t had bad service or an unappetizing meal! Yesterday Elyse was at the bar which is where we chose to sit. She was great! Prompt, pleasant and full of smiles! Hubby had the Holy Davoli Burger and just like last time, 1/2 came home with us. We’ll be back for sure and likely request a seat at the bar if Elyse is working.
