Restaurant bewertenThe first thing I'll say is that eating was delicious despite waiting. were large and all three of us had to eat at home. we ordered the shrimp gambi, spinach lasagna with meatballs and spaghetti with meatballs. also we have a dessert for a birthday! only regrettable that we have come at a bad time. we went in to put our name on a table of 3 but stood behind the door-disc type for 5 minutes, as no one welcomed people how they came in. the people were all cramped at the door, although there was plenty of space on the side. Finally, my name was down and we were sitting 10 minutes until a guy who looked like the manager asked us what we were waiting for. he said he'd put us right away. 10 more minutes pass and we ask if we can sit on the bar instead, but can't have a minor in our group. I checked with the hostess and from her look I could say they forgot us. she sat right after us, but another waiting from the server was recognized. he had 2 other tables and a small party next to us. at least he was very apologetic for his delay and informed us that several server did not appear for their shift in this night. we arrived at 6:30 a.m. on a Sunday and did not leave until almost 9 a.m.
Great service, good food. We had (crispy) eggplant salad chicken Parmesan, minestrone soup. Our waiter Isabela was very attentive and nice. We had a table outside under the columns. The bread was fresh out the oven. Noting the mambo green beans side was undercooked though.
The Chicken Vesuvius was amazing. I also got a side salad and Caprese. Portions were very generous. Can’t wait to go back.
Fabulous experience. Really old- school looking dining areas and nice staff. Our server, Liz, was amazing. She kindly recommended several dishes that we absolutely loved! She was patient, kind, knowledgeable, and friendly. Started off with Lobster Ravioli as our appetizer with Pomegranate Martinis, then Minestrone, and a salad (ranch dressing was different- almost like a vinaigrette); entrees were Lasagna with marinara sauce (which was so fresh and flavorful), and Scallops with asparagus in a divine lemon sauce with Rigatoni and Alfredo, which tasted like I'd died and gone to Heaven. As if that weren't enough, we decided to get a slice each of Carrot and Chocolate cake. Delicious! Only part I didn't care for is the parking lot, it's got weird angles and the spaces seem tiny. Small price to pay for a great dining experience.
OMG, what a great meal…. I had the Saltimbooca Chicken dinner, and let me tell you that it was the best choice on the menu…. My wife had Veal Parmigiana and loved it too. The restaurant was hopping, but service was wonderful, cannot say enough good things about this outstanding restaurant. Cannot wait to go back….
