Tahoe Famous Burgers - Mt Aukum

Oct 8, Hours posted do not match reality. Closed and laughing staff inside at 7:02pm. Open sign on, doors locked... But they post they're open until 8pm?Unsure if I'll return, but I'll revise this review if they're open when they say they're open and the food is halfway edible.

Delicious burgers! Regular fries were a bit dry and seemed a little stale. But curly fries were great. You have to grab yourself a burger here at least once.

Great selection of bourbon! Had a very knowledgeable bartender!!! We will be back.

Super super slow service (like a sloth)! Burger had no flavor and cold. I think it sat there for a while. Food came out 1 item at a time and there was no one there when we ordered and it took them 5 min to come over to take our order and 15 to 20+ min to make it. The people that came after us got 1/2 their food 1st. Very disappointing after a long drive up the mountain.

Maggie offered the best customer service and food our family of four (two teens) could have asked for!The burgers were juicy and delicious with fresh fixin's. The fries were crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. Everything was served hot off the grill! Except for the ice cream chocolate shake, which was apparently so tasty, my son offered none of it to me. ;)Thank you for a great experience, Maggie!
