It's been up and down with new ownership over the past years but it's worth a visit if you captured on a good night it's a great place to be

Terrible service. Only 4 people in bar area, bartender took my order but not my husband's. ordered a simple vodka and cranberry. Cranberry juice was brownish color and tasted horrible. Remake the drink and still tasted awfully and still did not take husband's order. Bartender disappeared several times. Dining room appeared to be empty. Never got offered menu.

We have never eaten here before. It is a beautiful older building, and appear to be relatively clean. We were quickly greeted and seated. Through our dining experience, it appeared as though the man who seated us also waited on us, and also was the bartender. I don't know if he was also the cook. We began to think that he was a one man show doing it all. We could be wrong, though. My wife and I both had the three mini crab cakes which were well prepared and had a little bit of spice to them. The complimentary bread was very good as well. My wife had the broiled stuffed haddock with a side of sauteed zucchini and squash which she said was well prepared but had an average taste. I had the New York strip steak, medium with mashed potatoes and the sauteed zucchini and squash. The saute zucchini and squash was well prepared and beautifully flavored. My steak was well prepared, but was just average in flavor as it did not appear to be seasoned. Both dinners came with a side salad with garden greens. It was a very good salad. Because it appeared that there was only one person doing most of the work, if not all, the service was a little slow. I think it was a little pricey before what we got and for the amount of food that we had received.
