Taco Casa - Mount Vernon

So we are truck drivers and ordered from here and we took a few extra spoons and do you know the manager made a huge scene and started screaming across the lobby at us saying we were stealing and we did not need any spoons for our meal? I was appalled and very embarrassed and He even started to reach towards our bag as we were eating to grab the extra spoons. Where in the world do these people get their customer service skills from? Who raised you guys? So disrespectful and embarrassing! I will never eat from here again! Ever!

Food is served from cans and bags despite the advertisement of fresh and deep-fried tortilla chips . Chips tasted old, stale and chemical smell as of they were stored next to cleaning supplies (i got the super nachos). It looked nice, but instantly recognized the cheese whiz taco-bell-like prepackaged ground beef. The atmosphere is nice with lots to look at and souvenirs etc. But the food...no. I stopped there few months ago as well and the BBQ is like something you 'd get at six flags, cheap ingredients, mostly prepackaged.

This has by far got to be one of the worst taco restaurants in all of Texas. The staff here act like that they don't have to work. Waited in line over 30 minutes for three tacos. A burrito that was absolutely horrible and the T I'm not even going to go there. Please close this restaurant down before it makes Taco Casa look any worse than it already does! Service: Dine in
