Railroad Park Resort And Dining Car

Came here for an early dinner. It wasn't the night, it would love it. Very cool restaurant in a train boxcar. Very unique. You have a happy hour of 3-5PM and have just begun to serve breakfast. Menu is not big, but food and drinks were good.

The rooms are unique and clean. In this weather, where it is 100 degrees during the day, the small air conditioning units can not keep it cool. The Restraunt has good food, and the waiting staff is good and friendly. Prices for the rooms and the food were inflated. You put 18% service fees on your income for dinner and then expect 20% tips about a meal for two coming over $100...

Easy drive thru, no issues with hook-ups, easy to read map was provided by staff. Quite area to relax and decompress from everyday stressors. Would highly recommend for RV’ing if your the area or looking for a place to relax. The near by rest ur ant was marvelous and delicious. Staff where friendly and helpful. One compliant is the portion where too small for my taste.

Took my husband on a surprise visit to RPR. What a wonderful spot. The setting was gorgeous with Castle Crags in the background. Our #2 caboose was absolutely adorable inside and very well appointed. The decor was all train and so appropo!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The pool was welcome after a hot day of hiking. There were picnic tables by the creek for cooking and eating —another plus. Lots of places to visit nearby making it a really memorable vacation. The hosts were extremely nice and accommodating. All in all, a 10 plus!!

Highly recommend. Staff very friendly and personable. Our cabin was clean and orderly. The grounds are well maintained, along with pool and hot tub. Very quiet among the trees.
