Restaurant bewertenWhat a fun and yummy spot! The hub I stopped in for breakfast and everything we ate hit the spot! We started with piping hot coffee and my southern hub really loved his biscuits sausage gravy while I thoroughly enjoyed the veggie scramble and a biscuit with apple butter. We both had the fabulous grits which were as good as my grandmom’s used to be. This spot is a no-brainer for great food friendly service!
We were told it would be a 15 minute wait, which turned into an hour wait as we were about to leave! so we were seated, another 30 minutes for waitress to take our orders, then brings coffee and we have no silverware to stir coffee-another 15 minutes to take our order and then another HOUR to get our breakfast of eggs and biscuits! Seriously understaffed, food was good, but wait was outrageous especially when they told us “15” minutes” !
Finally ate here and was not disappointed. The biscuits were good and my veggie scramble even better. The wife enjoyed her waffle, eggs, and bacon. Our server was very on point and the entire staff responsive and nice. Definitely planning to return.Food: 4/5
We went here for a late breakfast. It was worth the 35 minute wait! We have 2 Flying Biscuit locations in Charlotte and this Mt. Pleasant location topped the chart! The biscuits were perfectly soft and warm like they were freshly made and just out of the oven. Their signature apple butter was just the right texture and sweetness. My family of four had waffles, eggs cooked various ways, omelets, creamy grits, stuffed French toast and pancakes and no one was disappointed. Our server, whose name I unfortunately forgot, did a great job checking on us and replenishing our drinks, even though he was obviously tending to multiple tables across the restaurant. 10:10, highly recommend!
Hangover Hash was so delicious, I've been craving to go back! I need to figure out a copycat recipe! The Flying Biscuit Cafe: please hit me up with the details!Food: 5/5
