Restaurant bewertenStopped by at lunch time just for a look. This place is a gem. Great ambience (even though we were the only one's there.). No meals at the time but we were offered toasties or a bowl of chicken soup. Not both, either. The bowl of soup was huge and DELICIOUS. Highly recommended.
Peter and Tracy made us feel very welcome and the meal was fantastic. Friendly pub with lots of character. Will definitely be going back
This is a really interesting little pub! Our vintage truck club arrived unannounced on the June long weekend 2016, (other plans had fallen through so it was decided to go for a drive) and we were greeted by the friendly owners who made cups of tea (it was mid morning!) We all wandered around enjoying the character of the place and hopefully we will one day be able to return for a meal. (will let you know next time lol)Many thanks. Karen. ... in the middle of no-where! Unless you live in one of the few houses in the thriving metropolis of this town! But step across the thresh-hold of the Hotel and you not only step into a warm, inviting place but also into the pages of history. It might be a small pub in the scrub but it has loads of character and charm. We haven't had a meal there yet - but it's on the list...
Visit this pub frequently, the established owners have now built a great reputation for amazing food, cold beer, and just great country service. It's unique witch makes it differnt from your average country pub. Be sure to ring and book you're self in for a tasty meal or just call in for a cold beer great variety of wine and nice friendly locals.
