Odeum - Morgan Hill

Wonderful Business Dinner! Food was incredible and the Chef brought out some extras which made us feel special.

One of our favorite date night spots close to home. Food and service is always great.

If you’re looking for a fancy night out in Morgan Hill, consider Odeum. They have a varied menu which includes Chicken Waffles as well as Lamb Shank. The outdoor seating is nice under a huge Oka tree and next to the tall cylindrical tower that long ago used to hold grain. It’s a little highly priced for the quality of the food. But the portions are generous and it’s worth it for a special occasion.

Love this place for brunch, lunch or dinner! The food is always fresh and delicious.

We had 6pm arrival for two. Service was jaded. Drinks (2 white wines) took a really crazy long long time, and appetizer came at the same time as drinks and not more than 45 seconds later, main courses are plopped on our table: “make room, and oops made the wrong 50/50 guess on what dish to give to who, see ya” maybe was the hostess trying to help out. We just took it cause we were afraid if we refused we might not see again for a half hour. Food is ggrreeeaaat as usual. Sal is a master of great food! Saw the poor waiter get two big tables seated in less than 10 minutes not long behind us so he really didnt have time to checkin with us then another table of 6 was seated right next to us and he got more slammed just as he was about to take the 3rd big table’s order, he sees us sitting with empty drinks and plates and spins around and says, “can i get you anything else”. We were long finished. Wife says “we dont need anything else”, and before i can ask for the bill he flips around to that table and says “haylooo can i take your guys order?” he was so relieved we didnt ask him for anything else! (Felt sorry for him). Then it took 15 mins (15 REAL minutes) to get his attention and ask for the bill — kinda had to yell it across the room — wife wasnt happy with my volume kinda ruined evening but i just wanted to get outta there! My wife didnt want me to tip, zero, highly highly unusual of her, but gave over 20% tip anyways. Great great food! On and off service experiences. Maybe better 8 9pm.
