Philp's Fine Foods - Moray

I frequent this restaurant often, either getting takeaway sandwiches or freshly made, home-cooked ready meals like curries. Everything is always delicious, fresh, and often hot out of the oven. The quiches are light, crispy, and incredibly tasty (my favorite). It is not a place to dine in, but whatever you buy will not make it back home or to your workplace as it is too tempting! There is no parking outside, but there is a large car park just past it on the left if heading in from Elgin, and a similar one behind the library if coming from Nairn. You will need to walk off some calories anyway after buying more than you anticipated due to the enticing offerings. For a price comparable to supermarket "finest" sandwiches, you can get a top-quality sandwich fit for a king at this shop. If you call ahead and specify what you want, Rachel will have it all prepared for you to take away. There are also other select items to purchase, such as olives, venison, and upscale items in jars. This is my favorite spot!
