Restaurant bewertenWe ordered: Veg: Samosa, Veg momos, Veg chow chow Non-veg: Chicken momos. I recommend trying their veg chow chow and chicken momos; they’re delicious! The samosa and veg momos were okay.
Update 6-28-24 Still Excellent food, subpar service, a little more attentiveness and friendliness would go a long way, maybe just the culture but a simple fix. We'll still come back regardless, the food is too good!
We were not that hungry when we came in for lunch. Got the Saag lamb, naan and Sha phing noodles and they were super fresh and delicious!!! We cleaned the plate!
On our way to Montrose, my friend and I decided to stop for lunch and try something new, leading us to Himalayan Pun Hill Kitchen. Initially, we were a bit puzzled by the multiple doors on the building, but we found our way in through the entrance marked clearly. We were the only guests at the time, and a polite young woman welcomed us quietly, seated us efficiently, and promptly took our order. After a brief mix-up with the menu where they didn’t have an item we ordered, a gentleman kindly informed us and provided a menu for a new selection. The wait for our food was reasonable, and the dishes were absolutely worth it. The flavors of the Aloo Paratha, Veggie Samosa, Chicken Sekuwa, and Chicken Korma were phenomenal—each dish offering a delightful culinary experience. The Aloo Paratha and Chicken Sekuwa, in particular, were standout favorites with their unique and simple flavors. However, the ambiance of the restaurant did leave me pondering its cleanliness. The tablecloths, tucked under glass, had visible food stains on the overhanging portions, and the surrounding areas like the ceiling and bathroom also needed attention, showing signs of dirt and neglect. Despite the concerns about cleanliness, the food was excellent, and the restaurant was quiet with efficient service. For those who prefer pristine dining environments, perhaps consider takeout. The flavors here are not to be missed!
We went here for Mother’s Day and just loved everything we ordered! The Samosas were the best we’d ever had and the flavored Naan bread was amazing and a noodle dish and another dish that said it’s one of their most famous (a mushroom and peas masala—something like that) We took home leftovers and got to enjoy the food once more! We will be back for sure!
