We were recommended Thali over another restaurant by some local folks we met in our hotel bar. They were right! Thali was delicious - it's a very small restaurant - maybe 10 tables. The food was absolutely delicious and quite reasonable. We ordered lamb dhansak, chicken tikka Masala along with samosas and 2 types of naan. There was nothing that wasn't outstanding and we are thinking of going back tonight when our friends arrive. We would post pictures but we ate so quickly after they brought the food that we only had empty plates left.

Great Indian food in downtown Montreal at a cheap price. If you want something affordable and huge, definitely i recommend going with the "Thali" accompanied by a "thumps Up". staff are friendly and i don't recommend going there during noon since you might not find a spot to eat inside. They don't have many sitting spot available since the place is small.i would say its more like a take away place than a restaurant.
