Restaurant bewertenAn excellent place for roast beef . My second time there and was as please as the first. Service was prompt, Roast was served as ordered, medium rare. I would go back again next time I visit montreal if it were not for all the othergreat restaurants in that city. Price was excellent .
This is a restaurant that is located next to (or integrated into) the Senior's home complex. Yes, the clienteles are commonly the senior folks, but there is younger guests blended in. The restaurant décor is somewhat antiquated but clean
This is the second time we organized a family reunion at this restaurant. First we went there because of the location, parking and enough space for our group. It was a surprise to discover that the service and food quality was way over our expectation. Everything but believe me, everything from the menu deserve a 5 stars. If you are looking for a fancy place and expensive set-up, then do not go. But if quality and tasty food is your priority you will be at the right place, not to mention the low price.
Located in Anjou (Montreal), near hwy 40 and hwy 25, right by the mall "Les Galeries d'Anjou", this restaurant is an hidden gem.Looks like nothing from the outside, located at the first floor of a condo tower for retiree, this restaurants serve excellent prime rib and other choices also very good. The service is fast, efficient and friendly. The prices are very reasonnable for the quality of what they serve.Wine list is OK.The atmosphere may not be like what you could find at a trendy downtown restaurant and the customers may be a little on the older side. but the food is really worth a stop if you are in this part of the Montreal island (eastern part).I recommend.
I attended a 90th birthday party for a very dear family friend. It was a Sunday midday gathering of friends and relatives. The restaurant was not very busy, possibly because it has come under new ownership. Bobby the chef is a very talented artist. I had the 9oz. Roast beef dinner, medium rare, was as they say " so tender you could cut it with a knife" . The quality of the piece I had was excellent. There was no tenderizer. if any, that I could taste that would leave a sawdust texture on the pallet. As I said to Bobby, the chef, as he had an opportunity to chat with his guests, some fried Vidalia onions would have moved my meal into the 110% category. The roast potatoes were very very good and added so much to the fabulous meal I had. Service was excellent for our group and the staff is fluent and comfortable in either official language. (Any of our American cousins need not be fearful of service in the eastern part of the city in this restaurant). Writing this makes me hungry. I hope to return soon to Montreal an have a romantic evening dinner with my wife. Merci Bobby !!
