Restaurant bewertenEvery time we visit Montreal from Ottawa we pick up proper bagels and good Indian Food at Jolees. First the location is not very good. It is hard to find parking on the street and the people that live there are scary. Second the place is a dump. I would never eat there. The food, however, is great and the price is on point. I would rate there butter chicken as one of the best. Their chilly chicken is also great. Other people really like their rolls and other appetizers. The people that works there are very nice. The prices are amazing. My kids love the string hoppers and yellow gravy with grated coconut. There are always many Indian people getting food there, so the food must be authentic.
Prices are cheap but you get what you pay for. Overall it was ok but don't need to return. Enjoyed the spice level and tried new things like string hopper.
This is south Indian fare which is a bit more spicy. Masala dosa, thali. vegetarian and non veggie. But with kick. Fully licensed with seating inside and out. Take out yes.
Very Surprising a very small place lots of people come and get the food which is best because it is small and the restaurant is ordinary but to take out wow .Price is good lots of food very tasty and very spicy.
The price/quality is excellent, very relax and popular south Indian / Sri Lankan / Tamoul food. If you like normally spicy food, order non-spicy. If you like very, very spicy food, then you should order half-spicy. I tried once spicy with a friend, when we paid and left the restaurant, I was feeling as if I was flying over the clouds, my sight was blurry and I felt a kind of whistling noise inside my ears. Yes, the spicy is that spicy!
