Panama Rotisserie - Montréal

I returned to this restaurant with my brother and his wife, treating our friends from Florida last night. Once again, the authentic Greek cuisine was amazing! The service was friendly and efficient. This is definitely my favorite Greek tavern!

We had dinner with 8 friends on Friday night. The food was all delicious and the portions were generous. The roasted vegetables with tzatziki were excellent, but we were surprised to find that the grilled vegetables were very oily and dominated by a large onion. We suggest reducing the amount of onion and adding more vegetables, especially considering the high price. The mixed seafood plate and mixed meat grill were both very well prepared and substantial. The service was good overall, although a bit inconsistent - understandable given the current staffing challenges in the industry. Despite these minor issues, we will definitely return as the restaurant is conveniently located and the food was enjoyable.

When I used to live in DDO 6 years ago, Panama was one of my favorite restaurants. During a recent visit to Montreal, I convinced my friend to accompany me to Panama. We started with the fried zucchini, but it was very different from what I remembered from 6 years ago and not good. For the main meal, we ordered chicken and rice but were surprised to find that there was no Tzatziki sauce included. I requested it from the waiter and was shocked when I saw that I was charged $8.99 for it, which I believe should have been included with the meal as is common in other restaurants serving similar dishes. Overall, I was very disappointed, especially considering the price. I don't plan on returning to Panama when I visit Montreal again.

Recently went back to Panama rest in the west island for calamari and greek food ! The menu has so many dishes to choose from , I went with the fresh Mediteranean fish that was delicious but so pricey allthough it is imported so yes...costly ! But all in all the food was good and everyone enjoyed ,

We often went to this place when it opened, but realized that we don't need for a few years. Win it a try a few weeks ago and we are super happy to see that the place does not change in terms of quality... of food and value. Ambiente is beautiful, it is not an elevated place, but also not very easy. Food is amazing as always and prices are more reasonable. Nice friendly service. We will definitely be back and bring family and friends!
