Restaurant bewertenVery average food bland when compared to popular Chinatown eateries. Tolerable if not for the moody waiters. If another Chinese inn would crop up in the area with menu choices with more intense flavor and better trained servers in courtesy and respect, this well maybe only their second choice when going for Chinese foods in the area.
I had made a reservation for six earlier in the day and when we arrived our table was ready. We arrived at 5:30 pm and it was still quiet. We started with two different bowl of soup, Won Ton $6.95) and Soup Pekinese $8.75). Excellent. Next came the egg rolls $1.95). Not the best we have ever tasted. For our mains, we ordered General Tao Chicken $13.75), Cantonese style noodles $11.75), Chicken with broccoli $13.50), Shrimp in Lobster sauce $14.25), Honey Garlic Ribs $13.25) and 2 small bowls of rice. All the dishes arrived nice and hot and all were excellent, especially the Shrimp in lobster sauce and the ribs. Needless to say, we ended taking home a large doggy bag. By the time we were leaving all the tables were taken and there were at least 20 people waiting to be seated. Enjoy!
We went to have dinner at this restaurant. We must say the restaurant exceeded all our expectations. The staff were really quick and efficient. We ordered many dishes including 2 types of soups. The food were brought in very quickly and had enough portions. The pricing is reasonable. The food tasted very delicious and cooked very well. We did order the lobster as well. The portion of fried rice was really good. Overall, a well satisfying dinner for family of 5 and the pricing was really reasonable. The restaurant had ample seating and it was filled with customers. Eventhough the restaurant was really busy, the staff attended every customer really well and they also were very courteous. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.
Casual no-frills setting, but you're sure to eat to your heart's content! The place is full of regulars, which is always a good sign. Big portions, great prices!
We visited this restaurant with my brother and his partner for dinner. They live in Montreal and suggested this Chinese restaurant as one of their favourites. The restaurant was about half full. We waited nearly 30 minutes for someone to take our order despite asking many times. The server was rude. The food was slow to come. It was ok but not awesome. My brother decided not to tip because the service was so bad and the waiter came running after him and arguing with him as we were leaving. We will never return and my brother who lives in Montreal will not return either.
