Restaurant bewertenMy husband and I had a pretty unfortunate and disturbing experience. I had purchased a pannini and a cappuccino. My husband can't eat there since he's gluten free so he went and got fries. We sat down at a table and started eating. The waitress came up to us and started profusely yelling that my husband can't eat there because he had the fries. We asked if he could buy a coffee and put the fries away. She refused and continued to yell. She asked that I follow her to the counter to get a doggy bag. I asked her to please bring it to me. She started yelling at me and I turned away from her. She started yelling in Italian to the manager and eventually he brought me the doggy bag. What an unfortunate situation.
This bar according to Rick Steves turns train waiting into a blessing . It is nice to sit here and overlook the beautiful coast at Monterosso...the service is fine, they 'll let you linger until your train arrives...nice little rest spot!
I could not disagree more with the previous reviewer. After walking around for an hour trying to find somewhere reasonably priced to eat, we ended up back at the station and decided to try this bar. They have an excellent menu, the best uninterrupted view and the cheapest food and drinks in Monterosso! The place was spotlessly clean, the service excellent and we could not fault it. We had prosecco cheapest in 3 week trip white wine and the most delicious moules mariniere I have probably eaten.Anyone 'doing ' Cinque Terre should give it a try.
Very comfortable bar and enviable location. Prices are better compared to other bars in the area offering the same services and more with worse locations. Recommended!
Great place to have a drink, coffee on arrival or waiting for your train. Efficient and friendly service. Had best bruschetta, so fresh! Try the combo. We had on arrival of our stay and today on departure. The panini with parma and cheese was great too. Highly recommended. Lovely to look over the bay and people watching
