Très bon accueil, l'entrecôte est excellente et tendre. L'assiette catalane, avec une saucisse, une poitrine et un boudin, est également très savoureuse.

They have the best blowers from all over the region, known in the valley, that is, We're doing miles to taste them. And always a very good welcome, it's a good place.

Returning from a trip to the French Pyrenees on the Red Train we stopped in Axat for lunch. Ten of us sat down and enjoyed a very good meal with a beer. The barman was our waiter and answered our questions about various options. The food was served very quickly although only two chefs were on duty the food was excellent.

After visiting the town and the Four Solaire we decided to have lunch here. There were some local workmen having lunch (2 Forestry Commission and 2 road men). We were seated in the shady terrace and my husband had the menu de jour a fresh salad, 2 sausages and chips and faiselle with coulis (which I had for him). I had a large salad with goats cheese, tomatoes, sliced mushrooms. Very refreshing. I tried his sausages which he said were the best he had ever had in France!. The lady serving was also doing the bar and cooking but was extremely pleasant. The workmen were having a baguette with sausages and chips yum!
