Restaurant bewertenGreat Italian food. Family friendly, with crayons for the kids. Nicely-sized entrees. Only dropped a star because the happy hour specials (which are actually available all day on Sundays) is only available if seated in the bar. This was only made clear after getting a menu (and carefully reading it) when we were seated in the main dining area.
There was a little hole in the wall place in the U district called Tuscano's where I proposed on Valentines day 20+ years ago, so on a lark we booked a table here for Valentines day this year. To be honest, I was not expecting much something along the lines of an olive garden but my limited expectations were sorely misplaced. The food was amazing, and the service was even better. Not pretentious and family friendly, but still romantic enough for date night. We cannot wait to come back to our new (not so little) place and explore the menu further.
My sister, I come here for Happy Hour at least once a month. The drinks appetizers are great. Especially her chicken wings focaccia bread with spices olive oil. All employees are very nice.
It was my first time coming here and it was amazing. The chicken alfredo was very creamy and flavorful. We also ordered the chocolate caramel brownie delight and that probably one of the best brownies I've had in a while. Our server was also very welcoming and gave wonderful customer service. Definitely will come back here again.
Definitely a great local spot to come and eat at, has not disappointed with the pasta or pizza I've had. The mac and cheese is also very good. Great position sizes, and a great alternative to Olive Garden.
