Catfish Charlie's - Monroe

Love the food from Catfish Charlie's. ..especially the fried oysters. Next time, I plan to try the Lemon Meringue Pie!!!

We ordered catfish poboys. The filets was paper thin and fried so hard it hurt my teeth to eat it. They have lost my business.

My husband and I were on a road trip and this place seemed appetizing by the menu and reviews. We stopped in and ordered the seafood gumbo and a po' boy with jumbo shrimp. How can either one of these not be awesome in Louisiana? The gumbo was just ok but not much flavor. I couldn't even finish the po' boy. The bread was too thick and not warm. The shrimp was cooked with the tails on so I had to pick though my sandwich to remove the tails. The shrimp tasted dirty and not cleaned properly. I had h … – show
