Parking was a nightmare. We were seated quickly though. Food came out in a reasonable time too. However, it was so difficult to have a conversation with the people at our table. My ears were ringing when we left. The wait-staff were all very friendly and attentive. Parking: Parking was difficult. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
Beautiful setting outside: a deck right on a beautiful stream, and nice lighting, for an evening out. Food was fresh and tasty, and service was courteous and efficient.
I called to order a large pizza and they said they don?t make them. Strange being as it?s a Italian restaurant but anyway. The guy told me they have medium size so I decided to go with it. When I picked it up, it was about the size of a personal pizza. Very small. I ordered as soon as they opened so I know they were not busy yet and somehow my pizza still managed to stay in the oven to long and got burnt. Burnt crust ruins the entire pizza. We ended yo throwing it outsince it wasn?t even edible. I gave a generous 3 stars because I?m hopeful it was only the pizza they can?t cook right.
This charming restaurant is somewhat hidden behind ongoing roadside construction. Family-owned and recently moved from Monticello, Brother Bruno's is now situated alongside the peaceful Mongaup Creek, offering beautiful views. The food—appetizers, entrees, and desserts—is outstanding, and the waitstaff is both efficient and friendly. Prices are quite reasonable, and the establishment is well-maintained, including clean restrooms. There's a full bar at the front, and ample parking is available. On September 8th, 2020, the Sullivan County Libertarian Party hosted Larry Sharpe here.
