Restaurant bewertenThis location is no longer a Mary Browns..sign now reads "Burgers & Taters" not sure if the orginal owners are part of the new resto.
Fried chicken is always great, and instead of always going to Popeye's, I decided to try out Mary Brown's, and this place was worth it. It's a little pricier than Popeye's, but the food is delicious. The fries are salted perfectly, and the spicy chicken sandwich has a nice enough kick to it. The combo meal also includes a side salad, which is good too. The location of this specific Mary Brown's is in a weird-ish area, and it looks gloomy but the staff inside is very pleasant. The restaurant is small so there is room for seating but not much. For people looking for halal food, this restaurant serves halal meat.
This is, by far, the BEST Mary Brown's location. I find their prices are constantly higher than other locations but the food is so good that it's actually worth it. I will continue happily eating here.
Being pretty close to my house, we've picked up their chicken on many occasions. chicken is good and tasty, taters are unappetising in appearance and taste. i dont know why, but every visit to this location makes me feel as if i have come to some remote location far out in some god-forsaken place. its depressing and the staff appear listless and unmotivated. they could be doing much better if they spruce up the place and create some hype. they are definitely better that the awful kfc up the street, but popeyes beats them hollow.
First off Mary Brown gets 5 stars. The quality of the meat and the the whole 'fried chicken experience' (taters, coleslaw, gravy) is incredible. I had a few issues with this location, which pretty much means I would have to given it a 4 star, but since the new management I think they've figured out the few kinks that were present before (hires, speed, cleanliness). If you see any Mary Browns location. Please try it out. Nothing else compares!
